Current Concepts and Dilemmas in Genetic Testing

Course Policies

Discussion

Because small group discussion with experts is a key benefit of this class, discussion will account for 50% of the course grade.

Paper

Students will write a 5-page paper on an aspect of the translational process that is not covered in the course. This paper will be the basis of a short student presentation at the final class meeting and will account for 50% of the grade. To view an excellent paper from 2005, click here.

Attendance

Students who must miss a session are required to write a 2-page paper on an aspect of the class session that was missed.
