Healing HeARTs

Healing HeARTs through Stanford Medical School works with hospitalized children at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital (LPCH), El Camino Hospital, and Ronald McDonald House to create artwork, writing, and music as art therapy. The goal of our group is to inspire creativity, and to create a sense of normalcy in hospitalized children and their families. Our project is an opportunity for these children to express who they are, and what it means to be ill and hospitalized. We are also an advocacy group striving to educate the community about childhood illnesses through our annual publication and visual-audio presentation of the children's work.
